Access StudioWorks+ using the web or a Desktop Launcher.
There are two ways to access your StudioWorks+ project and work on yearbook pages. Follow the instructions below to access your project.
Accessing from the Web via StudioBalfour
- Log in to your StudioBalfour account.
- Click the Launch StudioWorks+ button from the Dashboard.
- Your web launcher download should begin. If not, check your computer's Download folder for the sw-jnlp.jnlp file.
- Accept or Approve the Java messages to continue launching the program.
- Once the application launches, the username and password credentials from StudioBalfour will be passed through for an automatic login to StudioWorks+.
Accessing from the Desktop Launcher
If you wish to bypass the StudioBalfour login method, you can install a Desktop Launcher on your computer. To do this, follow these instructions:
- Log in to your StudioBalfour account.
- Click the Launch StudioWorks+ button from the Dashboard.
- The page will lead to a link for the Desktop Launcher download files.
- Choose the format most compatible with your computer.
- Once installed, the StudioWorks+ Launcher will be available on your desktop for easy access. The Desktop Launcher does not store login credentials so your project number, username and password must be typed in every time.
Do I need the 32-bit or 64-bit PC download?
To check which processor your computer has, use the System Information utility. From the start menu, search for either "System Information" or "msinfo32". Under System Summary, look for System Type. If you see "x64-based PC," you have a 64-bit processor. If you see "x86-based PC," you have a 32-bit processor. Most newer computers will offer 64-bit processors.
