How can I add column guides or grids to pages in Encore?

Customizing all pages can easily be done by going to Book Settings > Customize Page Properties

Customize the columns & grid in Encore by clicking on the Properties menu located on the right of the page display.
You can enable or disable Columns on your page and the gutter between the columns. he default setting is four columns. You can choose the
number of columns or rows you need on the page with the up and down arrows.
You can enable the Grid option to see a grid on the page. This will help you align the various elements on the page. You can also choose the color of the grid lines.
The screen will display a live preview of each setting as you change options using the Properties menu
