How do you merge text with a color or gradient in the in StudioWorks+ Editor?

Text can be merged with a color or gradient in StudioWorks+ to create dramatic effects.

1. Click the Text tool and draw a text box.
2. De-select the frame by clicking an open part of the page.
3. Click the Text box again – you will see eight handles around the edge.
4. In the Object Inspector, set the fill color (solid or gradient).
5. Click on the Text tool, and click on the box.
A text cursor will appear.
6. Enter your text, format for size, alignment and leading.
7. De-select the frame by clicking an open part of the page.
8. Click the Image tool, then double-click the frame - you will see eight square handles around the edge.
The text and fill are now merged.
9. Open the Image Inspector and click the Text Merge tab. Click Merge With: Color.
10. The fill and text will merge.
11. [Opt] Go to the Object Inspector and experiment with different color/gradient fills. The text & color will remain merged.
