How to upload AdSpace content and design your custom ads

Learn how to download the ad content submitted and place it in your yearbook editor for design.

You've sold yearbook ads! That's great. Now it's time to download your ad content and begin designing. Before getting started, be sure you have approved and downloaded your ad content.

Uploading Ad Content to myYear or Encore

  1. Log in to StudioBalfour and launch into myYear or Encore from the dashboard screen.
  2. Click the Camera Icon in the top right of your screen, then click the plus sign (+) to select files. 
  3. Before uploading, images must be tagged. (Hint: Tagging your images by typing in "Ads" works great!)
  4. Click Done to complete the upload.
  5. Design your ad by placing the images on your pages in the desired layout.

Uploading Ad Content to StudioWorks+

  1. Log in to StudioBalfour and launch into StudioWorks+ from the dashboard screen or log in using the Desktop Launcher.
  2. Click Content
  3. Create a new folder in the My Content section by clicking "Add" at the bottom left of the screen.
  4. Name the folder with an easily recognizable name for future reference. We also recommend creating sub-folders with each student's name and the ad size (i.e. "Sally Smith - 1/4 page)
  5. Click Import on the bottom right of the screen to begin importing the images into StudioWorks+.
  6. Click Add Files, and select the files you wish to import.
  7. Design your ad by placing the images on your pages in the desired layout.

 Uploading Ad Content to BalfourTools

  1. Launch Adobe InDesign, and log into the BalfourTools extension.
  2. Click the Content Manager.
  3. Click the plus sign (+) on the bottom left to create a new folder named Ads. We also recommend creating sub-folders with each student's name and the ad size (i.e. "Sally Smith - 1/4 page)
  4. Click the plus sign (+) under the right pane to add files to the newly created folder. 
  5. Design your ad by placing the images on your pages in the desired layout.
