Why won't my StudioWorks+ page publish?

Before publishing pages in StudioWorks+, they must be free of errors, marked complete and proofed and they must not be locked.

StudioWorks+ alerts you when a page is ready to be published in the Editor. One of three different status labels is displayed in the lower, right corner of each spread.

GREEN - Ready to Publish – Indicates that the spread is ready to publish and does not require further adjustments or attention.

YELLOW - Ready to Publish – Indicates that the spread is ready to publish, but there could be some potential errors such as elements crossing a gutter. You should view these errors in the Page Inspector. When you click a listed error, the element causing the errors will be highlighted.

RED NOT READY TO PUBLISH– Indicates that the spread is not ready to publish due to missing elements or other errors that would cause the spread to print improperly. You should view and fix these errors in the Page Inspector. When you click a listed error, the element causing the errors will be selected on the page.

When a page is free of errors, it must be marked complete before it can be published.

Spreads which have elements that cross the gutter (such as backgrounds) must be completed as entire spreads and spreads within a portrait sections must be completed and published together. Pages cannot be published if they are locked.
